The National Breast Cancer Research Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on funding research to advance prevention and the search for the cure to breast cancer. Since 1993 the BCRF has funded 10,876,960 hours in research. 1 in every 8 US women develop breast cancer at some point in their lives. In the United States a woman is diagnosed with cancer every two minutes. These statistics seem overwhelming but If you take a moment to think about it, you too probably know at least one person whom either suffered or is suffering from breast cancer. One of their main mottos is “Cancer divides.
